Mail Order Terms & Conditions
It is very important that you read this section.
Please ring through your order during opening hours, or post/email
an order to us. If you are a new customer we will need to know
what size/width you normally purchase, also the name of the makes,
since all manufacturers sizes are different. This information is
vital for us to give you a good service. We will adapt this information
into our sizes. If in doubt please ring us. Please put a note in
all returns, as to the reason why the shoes are coming back to
us. This goes on record and helps us give you a better service
later on. Goods will be posted out as soon as cheques have cleared,
normally three days. Immediate delivery will take place with credit
card payments
DELIVERY ~ PACKING RATES
Please add the following amounts to the prices of the footwear:
Postage & packing shoes/sandals 1 pair: 2.00
Postage & packing shoes/sandals 2 pair: 4.00
Postage & packing long leg boots: 8.00
Postage & packing ankle boots: 4.00
Postage & packing training shoes & Platforms: 4.00
Goods to Southern Ireland & abroad are subject
to extra postal charges. We will keep these to the minimum.
The above are subsidised prices for goods that are kept by customers.
Extra costs must be charged on returns (See below)
RETURNS / REFUNDS TERMS ~ CONDITIONS
Shoes must only be tried on carpets. They must not be tried for
long periods of time, causing creasing. Shoes must be posted back via
the Post Office by day 7 of receipt. The footwear must be in perfect condition. Shoes returned after
day 7 will not be eligible for a refund (and a credit note will
automatically be sent). All returns worn or unworn must be packed
in a shoe box, with a second cardboard outer case around the box
for added strength. Make sure the heels are pointing away from
the upper of the other shoe, with tissue packed in-between.
We
regret that we cannot compensate you for postage on faulty returns.
We recommend that you use recorded delivery for single pairs. Special
delivery for two pairs. However the shoes are your property until
they are received by us. Thus you must decide how best to return
them. A full refund of the cost of the goods minus £2.00
extra costs (to cover postage and packing not included in the above
rates], will be given straight away by the same method as your
payment. Exchanges are not subject to this &p.00 charge. However
postage will be charged again.
Why minus £2.00?
The estimated cost of us
sending you one pair of shoes is around £8.00.This
takes into account postage, packing, staffing, telephone, insurance and 17.5%
VAT taken by the government. We subsidize our postal charges for you. The price
of £2.00 per pair is arrived at by assuming that the footwear is being
kept. If the footwear is not kept you have to pay the further £2.00 cost
of postage. The other way to do this would be to charge £4.00 per pair
to all customers. Then refund £2.00 to customers who keep the shoes. It
is obviously better to it by the first method.
This is our way of giving a bonus to customers who keep footwear.
Exchanges
If you send a shoe back for exchange you only pay the
cost of the new postage. Example £2.00 for shoes. We do
not deduct an extra £2.00
Examples of how this works.
- If you keep one pair of shoes you only pay £2.00 postage.
- If
you purchase one pair of shoes value £59.99. Then return
it to us for a refund. You will receive £57.99 back.
- If you return one pair of shoe price £59.99
to exchange for a second pair of shoes value £59.99. You pay £2.00
more postage.
